I visited during a tour of Cairns so I did not pay for thee shuttle ride there. The Mossman Gorge was beautiful and not overcrowded. The views from the bridge are pristine and definitely worth checking out.

OMG 😆 awesome swimming hole. It’s a must too see and explore. Water was so clean and fresh. The rainforest was bustling with life. Staff were good at info centre. I’ll be back. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

After reading other reviews the main whinge was the price of the bus fair from the visitor centre to the gorge. Well for just over $12 per person it was value for money. Saved us walking over 2 Km in the red hot sun and...More

This place is stunning and well worth the visit. Definitely do the 2.4km circuit as well it is top notch. It’s a shame that the company who operate the visiting centre at the car park go out of their way to shamelessly hoodwink people into...More

We didn’t have a lot of time so just did the bus and short boardwalk. I think it is not unreasonable to charge entry to this beautiful area and the bus trip meant I had more time to enjoy the walk. The gorge and rainforest...More

It's a stunning place, no doubt about it. The rocks and water are idyllic however the walks, whilst beautiful, no different to any other walks in any other rainforest. What I found disgraceful is the need to charge $11.80 per adult for literally a 5...More

We did neither so were not very impressed. We did the cableway the previous day to Kuranda which was much better. Mossman Gorge was our stop point on our way to Cape tribulation from Cairns. Hind sight - we could have skipped it. The bus...More

Although it felt expensive (3 adults & 2 teenagers), the guide (Jarrod) made the 1.5hr walk extremely interesting and entertaining even for our teenage girls! The Daintree tea and damper at the end were a nice finishing touch. We learned a lot about the forest...More

The gorge is beautiful - lush green forest with crystal clear rock pools. Note there is an entry fee / mini bus charge to get to the gorge ($27.50 for a family). There are signs everywhere saying don't swim. When I asked about it, I...More

Tracks are well laid out. You will have no problem finding the waterfall - the path is so good, it will suit a wheelchair.

Most people take a dip and change on the side of the stream - it’s a short walk but worth the money for the shuttle - it supports the local economy. The main visitor center has changing areas , a restaurant , gift shop and... More

It’s 4K, you are allowed to walk it but there is an indigenous settlement half way up that request you do not pass through their area.
