A beautiful monastery that is younger than it looks. The location of Tengboche means the views are absolutely stunning. You are allowed enter the monastery at certain times of day but you can't take pictures inside. It is a must visit.

I have had a great experience visiting the Tengboche monastery joining prayer ceremony. Join the ceremony in the morning or evening time in a calm environment. It's one of the best highlights for cultural experience.
