Well worth the visit to the gardens and the house. So much to see so allow a few hours. Then visit their wine shop and buy some of the local wines

took an incredible tour of the Bacalhoa Vinhos de Portugal winery and palace, which is a “must do” if you like either art or wine - and hopefully both. The Bacalhoa winery is the largest in Portugal and is now owned by the Berardo family...More

We recently took the tour of this vineyard - it costs very little about €3 each which includes the tasting of 3 different wines. The tour guide was funny and very interesting and he initially brought us to see the two art exhibitions at the...More

Wine tasting tour is more about the owner’s art collection rather than the wines. Even though they have great wines and moscatel, the ones they give us to taste are all produced in the inox containers.

The tour was excellent but be sure to also visit the winery museum (which is much more than that as it includes lots of art from the owner's amazing collection).
