If you love to hike or just want to go on a walk in nature you will love the Marmore. Plenty of challenging hikes and for the families a much easier access thru a stairs path. Gorgeous.

This is a must see if in the Umbria region. It is a marvel of Roman engineering and totally beautiful. The falls are visible all the time but if you want the best experience, check the opening time and get there about 15 minutes before....More

Bring waterproof shoes and a poncho! Amazing Roman creation! The waterfalls are beautiful and the history remarkable, enjoy this beautiful place...and maybe be brave enough to don a life jacket and go river rafting!

Certainly a magnificent engineering feat, but in true Italian fashion no clue how to make it valid for tourists. There was no information about where best to see the falls, no decent signage and no brochures. In the end you pay €10 to see a...More

Impossible to find a parking spot. The view is amazing, but is it really worth paying 10 euro...? Bring your raincoat ;)

Since this waterfall is mentioned in all guide books, we decided to give it a go. We went to the Upper part, since I read that you can make better pictures there. I found the ticket a bit overpriced and what I didn't expect is...More

We hired a car from Rome and drove to the falls, unfortunately it was a public holiday and parking was a huge issue. After overcoming that obstacle and actually getting to see the falls was well worth the effort. I took many photos and quite...More

We really enjoyed our day out here . We arrived not long after 12 and did the walk up before the falls go off at 1pm. A simple panini at the top and then back in the park to watch the falls come on again...More

These Roman made falls are a delight on a hot summer day in Umbria. You don’t mind getting wet when the sun is burning. You can climb all the way to the top of the falls with many stops and different views (also in terms...More

Hard to get to from Rome, without a car. I personally don't think it's worth it. Spend another day in Rome!

I didn’t see any dogs, but I would ask to the tourist information center, since I don’t see a reason not to do so.
