Had a wonderful time seeing our native animals up close. Staff are very friendly and obviously love their job - and who wouldn’t? Highly recommended. The bat enclosure is amazing.

The Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is about an hour outside Sydney. It was a decent place to pet a koala and kangaroos and to walk around and see other native Australia animals, but if you can make it to Cairns, Hartley's Crocodile Adventure is much...More

Cute park, up close animals (kangaroos, emus, wallabies) you can pet them too. Loved the python and koala talk too. Learned a lot about these animals.

Great time with my friends attending the Wildlife Park. I enjoyed seeing that a lot of the animals they take in cannot survive on their own in the wild. They also don't breed and keep in captivity. It truly is a wildlife park and didn't...More

This place was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We highly recommend staying overnight. The cabin is cozy. The animals are very active at night. It was an exciting adventure to wander through the park with a torch. We also enjoyed...More

It was important for me to experience animals in Australia but as an animal lover, it was more important to make sure I chose a location that was not a zoo or some animal park where animals are just kept for profit and entertainment. I...More

We called in to this wildlife park on our way to the Central Coast from Sydney. We had been before and enjoyed it. This time we just did the short walk around, starting with the petting zoo section, a few non native animals, then the...More

The website implies that you’ll be driving or walking among free range animals, but it’s just a tiny zoo with a few kangaroos wandering. The staff is nice but again the advertising and price are not consistent.

Hi there; the rangers are extremely knowledgable and you'll surely get a lot out of a private tour with your two hour window. The park is small and you'll easily be able to walk about with comfort. The Koalas are very... More

Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is not on a public transport route and therefore the closest station is at Gosford, either train or bus. A taxi fare from Gosford is approximately $45 one way, so is pretty expensive. We... More
