Drove up to the free summit car park and surprisingly easy to find a park. View was lovely, sun was out and the purple flowers were gorgeous. Would love to return and walk around some of the tracks.

Easy, well-marked walking path up to the Summit which offers great views. Just before you climb up to the summit there is a small cafe/ shop, taking advantage of the location. You can continue on around the lower path at the Summit to do a...More

The hike was beautiful! It wasn't too crowded going up but coming down it was getting busier and hard to stay on the trail with how many people were coming in the opposite direction. The views from the top are incredible! Some people made me...More

Howth Summit is a place that is surrounded by water and mountain, with lots of flowers blooming. It has been a very nice walk, and I really enjoyed the sunny weather and the great view from there. Go take lot of pics around!

You need to be prepared for very cold, windy and rainy. We got a little of everything today. We also were lucky enough to have had heavy rain for the first 20 min, then none until the final 30 min of our day. The views...More

The summit of Howth Head gives you just the most breathtaking views of Dublin Bay and the mountains in the distance. I find it hard to believe there's a nicer view in the whole county. There's a decent sized car park there too and the...More

If you are doing the Howth cliffside hike (which I highly recommend) then it is well worth your time to pause for a bit and take in the views of Howth. I lucked out and went on a warm sunny day, but I imagine the...More

The others were all skeptical about doing this but it was well worth it! Not always easy going but doable! We were lucky with the weather though it was a tad hazy. The fish & chips afterwards were well deserved!

After walking to summit for the spectacular view, we retreated to Gaffneys for dessert. One of the most scrumptious brownie desserts Ihave ever eaten.

Stupendous viws. Hike was really pleasant except at times, there were very talkative hikers. The views of water, cliffs, and soaring gulls and allies were lovely. We arrived around midday on a beautifully sunny Sunday. Many Day strippers so taking hike earlier may avoid crowds.
