we visited the antic gold collection as it was recommended by friends that visited the museum there are really good jewlry examples and very good explanatios
Really enjoyed this museum. Well laid out and lots to see. No cafe just some well hidden vending machines ! Spent an enjoyable couple of hours. Had to rush the lower ground floor as got hungry and had to leave for some lunch.
Don't miss the museum. which is modern, light and airy. It is a treasure house (literally - the gold artefacts are fabulous) and the displays are very well done. Plenty to interest even those not particularly into archaeology.
We went to see one item in particular, the mask which was shown on TV earlier in the year, but we were fascinated by all the items in that one hall that we had not time to see the other halls. That is why a second visit is neede.
