The old monastery is beautifully built in a spectacular surrounding. All the buildings inside are very clean and beautiful, but the entrance fee is much too high for the hole building and the museum.

As common for monasteries - nice location and calm atmosphere. A nice church and small museum. The monastery was a hiding place for Allies pilots in WWII.

We visited both the current monastery at the top of the hill and although nice the ruins at the foot of the hill are far more interesting and away from the coaches of tourists

The Monastery is on the top of the hill. 2km from the beach. You better take the car to go there

We traveled by car that we rented and used a navigator :) All I remember is that the road was good.
