Huge complex of museums with exhibitions and park. The contemporary art museum was a lot of drawings and architecture, rather small for the price we paid and the expectations, plus some other work that did not impress us at compared to other such places visited....More

This museum is not intersting if you are not a fan of strange artworks. Entrance fee of 12 euros is too high for what you get. In one room there was a loadspekaer with a lot of noise, horrible and strange! Kind of sick! Can't...More

Well worth finding this slightly hidden gem in the Porto suburbs. The museum near the entrance is worth a quick visit but the real gem is the amazing Casa with the huge mature gardens that surround it. There are interesting sculptures dotted around including a...More

The building itself is worth to visit, pink house, contemporary museum architecture and green park with surprised statues and tree walk. Very friendly staffs, the staff in cinema gave me a very detaled introduction of the museum history and architects, totally agree it is a good sample...More

The museum is a spectacular setting for installation art. Lots of stairs, but there are elevators to all levels. Nice cafe on ground floor with a good variety of reasonably-priced snacks. Be sure to purchase a ticket for the gardens as well., The Art Deco...More

I had read about this museum which boasts an excellent collection of Poruguese contemporary art in a modern architecturally designed building with abundant gardens, outdoor sculptures, and extensive landscaped grounds. It's possible to purchase just a grounds pass which is what I did as this...More

I wasn't a big fan of the art exhibit within the house, but contemporary art isn't my primary interest area. The house and grounds are stunning, though!

You can choose what to visit or buy a full ticket. The museum is weird, but the garden is beautiful and big. You can see horses and other animals but it is still not worth the price. There is a student discount.

We paid for the full ticket each to give access to everything. I’d say that was our first mistake but actually that was expecting friendly and helpful service from the surly guy behind reception. If you’re not into contemporary art then the museum really isn’t...More
