Whether you are actually traveling by train or not, this is a place to stop in and take a gander. There are artistic murals on the walling depicting the history of Portugal.

The murals a the Sao Bento Railway Station are incredibly beautiful. You could spend an hour just looking at them and admiring them. We didn't take any trains from the station, but will definitely consider it if we are back in Portugal.

We stopped a couple of times to see the tiled station. The tiled artwork is very beautiful and tells some of the history of Portugal. Both the walls and ceiling are worth viewing. We didn't actually use this train station, so we didn't go any...More

Not a railway buff, this railway station should be on the list of everyone visiting Porto to visit. Why - it's free and magnificent. The walls are beautifully tiled with scenes from Porto's history.

A fun stop. The tour guide showed us how the tiles tell the story of the history of Portugal. We wouldn’t have known that.
