It’s a pretty street running down towards the river, with cafes and little shops. Well worth a visit. My friend had “the best hot chocolate ever” there - basically liquid chocolate in a cup. Also, useful pharmacy there. Beautiful architecture.
look for number 32: Cantina 32 is a unique Bar/Restaurant with very good dishes at reasonable prices. We travelled in Noveber so we didn't reserve a table, but we were surprised, that the people were waiting outside to enter the restaurant.... wait to be seated!
It well lives up to its name as a pedestrian walkway with crowds and crowds of people descending on the area. Lots of intriguing shops along the way, plus fascinating restaurants or just enjoy the sights.
Rua das Flores is one of the most picturesque and popular pedestrian streets in Porto. It links the Town Hall area to the Ribeira (river) and you will forget about time with so many antiques, bookshops, boutiques, cafés, ‘Petiscos’ (snack bars), beautiful granite façades and…
The shops were arty and craffty down this street and very varied in products so well worth a visit. The architecture of some of the buildings also was impressive. Don't miss this street.
