The traditional house are brilliant talk about minimalist living, the farmers certainly personified minimalism. Work, sleep work. A lovely place Poncha wow it pokes a punch. Found a lovely cafe in the centre of town. A really good local soup with garlic bread, worth the...More

Was looking forward to visiting these little places. Shame that they are a bit run down and are basically now shops. Didn’t really have long to explore properly but a few minutes for a photo shoot is ample.

Santana has the old A frame houses littered up their high street. They’ve been modified into craft shops etc, but there is one on the outskirts which is still being lived in. Great for a short stop or lunch. Very interesting

Visited as part of a trip. Santana is very pretty and makes for good photographs. It is however quite small and we really didn’t need the length of stop we had there. The houses are generally new versions of the traditional Santana homes but you...More

Very nice village, with old traditional houses very well-known as typical for this island. Highly recoomended!

The village is only for a short stop over as there are only 5 houses and can be seen in 10 mins. The journey to the town is beautiful and the reason for going.

The collection of houses look lovely and are very distinctive. They have been changed into little shops such as a florist, tourist information. If you walk up the street opposite to the hotel, there is another house which has been made up to show what...More

We were looking for another day trip, so we were OK w/ this excursion, but there isn't much else to see in the area and the houses are just buildings for tourist items. We also justified the trip by going to the wicker factory, which...More

The typical houses are nice to see. The gift shop is in 1 of them. We spent less than 30 minutes there, just walking a bit around, taking pictures and buy a souvenir. There is a free covered parking just opposite the traditional houses.
