First rate Flemish-Dutch masters, astonishing architecture. Look up the collection and be prepared to be happy. There are also temporary exhibits to check out.

This museum has many medieval sculptures that are very beautiful. It reminds me of our visit to the Saint Agnes Convent in Prague in terms of the latter's richness of such works of art. In addition, this museum houses many oil paintings and other objects....More

We visited on the European Heritage Day, so all museums free of charge. And compared with other sights in Lisbon, there are not many people here. But the museum has a large collection and different kind of art is to be seen here.

Allow a lot of time to see this museum as its collection is extensive and diverse. It is well-planned and lay out easy to navigate, with a fabulous cafe and gift shop. A must in my opinion!
