The new building is definitely a place to see, even just from outside if you are interested in contemporary architecture. But when it comes to what is inside of it, the exhibition wasn't as interesting as the building itself. If you decide to go there,...More

I saw MAAT for the first time from a boat while cruising the Tagus River. Went there at night. Such a beautiful example of modern architecture with some influence from the beloved Oscar Niemeyer.

Interesting building from the outside with sweeping elevations, a great rooftop viewing point which leads across a new bridge back to civilisation - places to eat and drink! Inside though was a massive let down, what I call masturbatory art: the ‘artists’ seem to be...More

We really enjoyed the old power station but were a bit underwhelmed with the other exhibition. The building itself is great as are the views over the water from the roof. The architecture exhibit was interesting.

In a beautifully designed modern building, we were disappointed to learn that not much was on the go because they were preparing a new exhibition! So we left the building for a long walk down the road to to the once-rope-making buildings housing the Banksy...More

A bit confusing but enjoyable. Spent about an hour there mostly in the electrical museum part. A bit hard to find. Even searching to write this review. My bad, I was searching MATT.
