This is a great example of the Portuguese tile work you can find in Portugal. Only drawback is that right now it is under construction. In 2020 when they reopen you should come by if you are in Aveiro.

Clean and not too far from city centre. Maybe a 15 minute walk with luggage from the centre of town.

The railway station is bigger than you would think. And the transport to the station is quite fast from Porto.

Station is currently closed and under renovation. Promises to be good when it reopens. Set beside current main rail terminal.

Easy to get around, buy tickets and grab a bite. Well marked and a great place to start off on your next destination to almost every where.

Used this station for a day trip from Porto, it is really easy to navigate in a good location and has good amenities. You do have to pay 50 cents to use the bathrooms.

It services all the suburban and regional train lines. The train is a good way to get around the city of Lisbon including the airport. It's modern, clean and easy to navigate.

Unfortunately, there is no such service in Aveiro's train station :\ However, if your bag is not crazy big and you'd handle to carry it around for 1 few minutes, I'd recommend you to stop in Aveiro anyway. Just go down the... More
