Amazing how well built these are have stood for so long and still look good. The walls make an impressive ring and are a great entry to the city.

Truly lovely walled city and very easy to get around. Take the time to walk around the walks for several very good photo opportunities. There is much to see.

Since we stayed for 3 days, we had time to explore and one day we literally walked just inside the wall in a circuit---well worth the time to enjoy the neighborhoods and buildings in this gem of a city.

Not many people walk around the perimeter of the wall, hence making it the perfect spot for phototaking! Especially if you are worried of getting weird stares from passersby while posing or if you do not wish to have any other people in your photo...More

The walls are quite impressive and are good point to find the right direction in the city. It is a shame you cannot walk through them (well, at least we could not find this option...). But you can walk around them or through the gates.

These are one of the best preserved walls I have seen in a long time. They seem to go right round the city and you can walk around the outside of them very easily

Not a large structure compared to other walled medieval European towns. Worth a look. Easy access. Recommend.
