We were here mid morning and it was pretty quiet, I think it is much more popular at night, lots of clubs and bars which are not my thing.

This is one of the centers of the city with a lot of theaters around, many trams converge and a lot of eating and drinking. It's very lively and quite clean and neat. Respectable.

Nice place to stop and grab a beer, but loads of tourists and therefore tourist prices. Handy for local hotels and getting tram into the center. Bit of work going on currently in some of the surrounding buildings next to the bulldog which doesn’t help.

Just a random large square with some trams and generic-looking bars with plenty of tourists and surrounded by not the most attractive buildings. Maybe more interesting during nighttime!

This square has no real centre split by a main tram route with a five star hotel on one side and a host of standard bars with terraces on the other. Plenty of life here though especially for the younger folk !
