If you are hoping to go up in September, don’t bother, as it is closed for maintenance. The Gornergrat railway was brilliant !

I had a great time skiing on this glacier...the slopes were quite flat for beginner level... Will come back again for skiing

We visited Zermatt on the 15th August which is a big feast day. We were greeted with people in their national dress, Horn Blowers and great excitement around the town. We did some great hiking here

In practice all the ski trails are reserved for athletes and national ski teams. The result is that only a very limited space is left for tourist skiers.

I’d check the weather in December, if your a skier make sure there is enough snow we went in March and there was lots of snow

Hi, there is a suttle bus throught the village, so you donot have to walk all the way from station to station. We loved Sunnega area more, than Matterhorn glacier. You better buy online your ski pass, which is better priced... More
