I have done this trip many times and it still takes my breathe away. Take the train from Ost to Grindelwald for coffee, walk through the village and take the gondola up to First, return and take the train via Grund to Kleine Scheidegg, have...More

We took the train up and it was a cloudy day. As we went up, we came to the clouds and when we got to the top we were over the clouds. It was amazing and the clouds constantly moved so sometimes we saw some...More

This walk is best done by taking the Wengen to Mannlichen cable car and walking towards Kliene Scheidegg. By going in this direction you retain splendid views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountains throughout. The walk takes around 90 minutes with predominantly level ground...More

In summer, trains from both Grindelwald in one valley and Lauterbrunnen in the other both end at this station. And the Jungfraujoch train starts from here. So first and foremost it is used by rail passengers to get to the top of the mountain. That...More

We took the cable car from Wengen to Mannlichen and hiked from there to Kleine Scheidegg. It is an absolutely stunning walk. If you go this direction, you are mostly descending with the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau in front of you. We went in late...More
