First, the guide had a strong accent and taking into consideration that most visitors are not mother tongue English speakers, the guides spoken language was too fast and too imprecise. Also, most of the info given was general and can be found on internet. No...More

I had huge expectations from the tour but it was sadly restricted to only couple of rooms. However, the building has a lot to offer. The decor in both the rooms were quite fascinating especially the ceiling in the conference room. I was quite happy...More

I guess they give guided tours, I don't know how you arrange one or the cost - but it's closed on Sundays. Wish the tourism centre would have told us. Still, you can take photos outside the gates.

So we decided to have a bit of an educational day and go to the United Nations offices in Geneva. The tour itself is about an hour and our guide was informative but considering the cost of CHF 15 for an adult (which granted is...More

There is a tour you can join when you visit the Geneva UN Building. The guide was super knowledgeable and made the tour a really interesting experience. It is definitely worth a visit!

We have a one hour tour but the guide spoke English only fairly well and the group was too large. She rushed us through in a very unfriendly way. Yes, there was a time limit but she was brash and almost unkind.

Several years ago now, my (now) wife and I visited the UN buildings in Vienna. When we recently found ourselves in Geneva, I was keen to visit its buildings, partly because of the links to the League of Nations. Getting onto a tour is similarly...More

The book shop is in the main building that you go into for the tour. Before you can get there you have to buy a ticket and go through fairly rigorous security so you would not be able to get to the shop without being on... More
