This is absolutely one of the highlights of Bazel. A building which they started building in the 11th century. It has a great organ and we even went up in the tower, awesome!

Very beautiful and climbed to the top. Make sure you get to the top by 5. Doors to the top close at 4:30pm.

The cathedral by is wonderful, was built between 1019 and 1500 in Romanesque and Gothic styles. The view from above is wonderful, not advised for those who are afraid of height or vertigo. And have a breath... The climb can only be done in pairs....More

Yes, its 2 SFR pp. But sometimes they only let a minimum of 4 people go up. Why? Haven't a clue.

Yes, it is free to tour, I didn't climb the tower, but the church and grounds are free.
