Get off the ‘historico’ treadmill and out and about to some daily city life. This is largely a neighbourhood and daily produce market 7am to 2pm, with some special markets on days throughout the month - check the website for details. If you are lucky...More

A pleasant market but a bit out of the centre. Food stores catch the eye but so do most in France and Italy.

We were hoping for this to be more like the covered market in Bologna where you can eat and drink local produce from many different stalls. But this is just a local market where you can come to buy fresh food if you are self-catering....More

This market has fresh fruits/veggies at VERY reasonable costs, and an inside market with meats, seafood, cheese and ready-made foods. We didn't see any other tourists while there. Go here!

The visit was really nice. We waked arround the main floor, watching the stalls and sellers. So many different products and goods. You have lits of places with take away food. On the first floor you have many restaurants. We recomend a visit!

We don’t have an oven where we are staying - otherwise we would have been buying what we could carry back to the apartment. 😊. The meat in the various stalls looks so good. Also attractive pasta and fruit and vegetables.

Most of the stalls around Florence and in the other outdoor markets are mainly leather goods. This is different in that the outdoor part is a mixture of everything. It is on the small size but worth a visit

A great market for food and goods. The market is a series of small shops and kiosks featuring a variety of goods. In particular are two meat markets, a cheese market and a variety of fresh vegetables. The vendors are pleasant and the prices reasonable....More
