The saucer-shapedSan Firenze Square is located behind Palazzo Vecchio. Palazzo Gondi is located directly in front of it. The Complex of San Firenze is a 17th-century Baroque-style building, consisting of a church, palace, and former oratory, that is located on the southeast corner of San...More

There’s quite a lot going on in this square, several pizza style restaurants and bars, tourist attractions and of course lots of tourists. There are a couple of hotels too, very good ones.

Interesting architecture and feel to this piazza. Ornate government buildings filled with people relaxing on the steps and taking in the sights.

On our evening walk back from dinner we discovered the Piazza San Firenze. We uploaded our pics but they barely do justice to the warmly lit facades on the three sides, each with completely different architectural styles. On the photo you will see the Baroque...More

Piazza San Firenze is a very small piazza. With a name like that you would expect something big... Anyway, it is far too small to do anything there, you cannot sit, as there are no seats, it's basically a widened thoroughfare, and that's about it....More

Located across from Complesso di San Firenze, this Piazza has a few restaurants and a small market area with some souvenir kiosks. It does offer a great place to take photos of both Badia Fiorentina and Museo Nazionale del Bargello.
