A true Experience in Venice! Venice Boat Experience is a local, luxury boat company based in Venice providing private boat tours around the Lagoon of Venice, away from the massive crowd of the city. Our boat Bora has been restyled in 2015 to make...more
Suggested duration: More than 3 hours
San Marco 4590 | Campo San Luca, 30124 Venice, Italy
Basic private ride. No singing (except for us). Canals get a bit crowded with work boats, Gondolas, and water taxis. Kinda like a Disney ride. Once we parted ways with the crowd the ride was quiet and romantic.
My girlfriend and I recently booked a tour in Venice through viator, we were told this would be a one hour boat ride through the canal followed by a 4 course dinner at an upscale restaurant. The cost for this was $500 However when the...More
A nice trip round the Grand Canal you can't hear much about the descriptions of the buildings though as the back of the boat where we sat was too loud and she spoke in several languages but some good photos to be had
Gives enough time to walk around the 3 places and also have a meal if you want to (Burano, where you have 2 hours). The guide tour is only while in the boat and tells you where you could go in each Island before you...More
We were the only people on this tour and Katarina was warm and interesting. If you (or anyone in your group) is looking for a fast-paced, action-packed tour, this is not it. My 11-year old daughter handled it great and I found it very interesting,...More
IT was very nice but the amount of time you had to explore each Island was way to short. You only had about 45 minutes to an hour to see the places. Tocello was nice because there was not much to see so so the...More
We really looked forward to seeing the glass factories in Murano. Instead, they take you to ONE place, you get a short demonstration, then you're hustled into the ONE shop to buy pieces much inferior to what you'll see in Venice ... and then the...More
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
