This is the gateway to Venice if arriving by train. The station is well laid out, numerous ticket machines for purchasing your tickets, a large customer service office and many cafes, coffee shops and such. Very user friendly train station.

the vaporetto stop is just outside the main entrance to the trainstation. We bought our ticket upon arrival. Hope this helps.
