These stairs located within the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale were the official entrance into the building. At the top of the stairs are statues of Mars and Neptune. Not open to the public but makes for a great photo.

This stair case should have much more street cred. Beautiful statues at the top. This was the main entrance into Doge's Palace and the link between the Palace and the Basilica. It can be viewed from either side, but you can't walk on the stairs.
