A grand monument "celebrating" the end of the numerous wars of the 17th and 18th centuries. Read the history cause it started out as one thing and ended up as another after a few chansa along the way. Magnifico

Arch Della Pace is located in Sempione Park near Castello Sforzesco. The arch is impressive and comparable to arches in Paris, Barcelona, Prague, Brussels and Marseille. The artwork and architecture are stunning.

Arco della Pace or Arch of Peace is also known as Sempione Gate in Sempione Park, Milan. The arch is clad in Crevola marble and decorated with Corinthian columns, bas-reliefs and sculptures. However, the monument looks lackadaisical and anaemic.
