Very cute old town, well kept. Great shops and restaurants. Cable train makes access easy up and down to new part of town.

We were here on a Sunday afternoon and on a Monday morning. If you can go to the old town avoid the weekend. It is otherwise terribly crowded.

History, heritage, good food, good quality time spent. Very clean. Beautiful panoramic view, definitely I’ll turn back to visit it again, and again. <3

Wonderful atmosphere all around. Opera music was playing in the centre! Beautiful old streets and shops. Perfect place for a dinner followed by a stroll around.

No, there is not. The closest one is Tintoria San Marco in Viale Vittorio Emanuele II, 12, Bergamo. It's about 5-10 min by bus or car from Città Alta

Yes - it is a very tourist area. There will be many shops along the main walking street open. Also plenty of restaurants and bars.
