Lovely place to go and watch the world go by.. you can sit at one of the many bars / cafes and eat tapas and have a drink and just people watch. Great market on a Sunday in the area too.

Plaza Redonda is a 3-storey renovated circular structure in the Old Town. A medieval central fountain in the middle of the market place can be found. Many old ladies are found doing their handmade lace in front of the shops/stalls inside the plaza. This place...More

We walked up there today because we had read about the shopping area in a pamphlet. There are a lot of restaurants but we had already eaten so we concentrated on the stores. Several weren’t open because it was the middle of the day. However,...More

A bit of a none event something to tick of the map of old town. An old circular building that has been restored with stalls and shops at ground level and flats higher up.

As the song said, "walk on by" as there really isn't much to see other than a 3 story circular structure, mono-colored with small shops, a couple eateries and a non functioning fountain in the center. Far too many billboards in the interior detract from...More

Stumbled into the Plaza Redonda but to be honest there is not much to see, a few restaurants and the fountain was not working.

Lovely round plaza just behind the belfry of Santa Catalina Church, it was cool and had a lovely fountain at its centre. Guide book says that it’s an unusual haberdashery market and that the stalls have been in the families for generations. Great to just...More

Nice to visit but not so as I thought it will be. You cannot see it as it had to be in earlier times because of all the little shops. Not a real highlight.
