Most of Europe has an abundance of cathedrals and churches worth spending time to marvel at the richness of the architecture. Valencia has its share of these historical wonders and the Cathedral is well worth visiting.
Great church history but weird that a church that would charge tourist euro 8!to visit this holy place. I guess that’s the only way to get financial money support. The church even put up wooden walls to avoid people seeing the interior of the church....More
A a brilliant example of gothic and later architectural styles sitting on one central site .Make sure you visit the museum to see the original statues of the disciples and then go up the tower 207 steps to see the great views over the city...More
Cathedral impression is fantastic! There is a very nice audioguide in many languages. Also there is a very nice museum inside. After cathedral you are suggested to visit a bell-tower. The climb is steep and high, stairs are very narrow, Valencia view is amazing.
For a paltry 2 euros and a rather tight climb up a narrow stairwell you can feast your eyes over the valencia rooftop skyline. We were fortunate to have a lovely sunny day so managed to get some great views.
