It's a beautiful fountain. It is a must to visit and take a picture of it. You can do it across the street when no cars are passing through the roundabout

It depicts Roman goddess of fertility in her chariot pulled by lions. It's bit hard to get as it is in the center of a busy roundabout. But you get equally good views from the footpaths around.

The Cibeles Fountain sits right in front of the Cibeles Palace. One of Madrid’s most famous landmarks, the fountain has a sculpture of Cybele, the Great Mother of the gods and Roman goddess of fertility, sitting on a chariot being drawn by two lions. Sadly...More

Nice fountain, but is located in the middle of a very busy road. But when the traffic lights are on stop, you can get a nice view.

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
