Being oldest Resturant doesnt meant that you have to be rude. Was there around 8.10pm. Walk in ask for any avaliable sit, was told off it is full in a badly manner by the one who arrange seat. I think he may feel one person...More
We booked 6 weeks in advance for 8pm as we were dining with friends from abroad (restaurant wouldn't accept 8:30pm). Scores of people lined up at door. We politely waited our turn to be attended to for a frustrating 10 minutes but people kept walking...More
Sub par at best. People don’t come for the food - they come here because it’s a Guinness word record holder for oldest destination (although it isn’t technically true). They know they’re a tourist destination (read: trap) and they know it so they don’t even...More
I emailed them and booked 7:30pm, and they replied me ok. When we were there in time, just found out that they opened at 8pm so we wasted half an hour there. Though, they arranged me a table in a cave like in the basement...More
Botin's opened at 8 PM which was the time of our reservation. We were escorted upstairs to a lovely table in this historical restaurant. Having enjoyed visits here before, we knew to order their specialty, the Roast Suckling Pig, so tender and flavorful. It certainly...More

We had made a reservation for eight people and when we showed up at the restaurant, our table was ready. One of the members in my party was in charge of making the reservation and since he was staying at the Westin Palace Madrid, I bet he did it through the concierge. Concierges have many special ways to connect with many places because they are always calling for reservations and they might have priority.
