Visited after lunch, what a wonderful place, tranquil and interesting. Fascinating to think how many other people over the centuries must have said the same.

It was so worth going into this century old Basilica. There is a small cost to go in. Walk through to the Cloisters and the gardens in the middle of them. So Beautiful and serene.

Situated in the heart of the old town this is a real jewel. So many areas to visit and the Cloisters especially so.Some original frescoes make very interesting subjects.

We have been traveled all over Europe and think that the Cathedral of Tarragona is one of the most beautiful churches we have visited (especially in contrast to the monstrosity of the Burgos Cathedral!). It is a vast, even humbling monument with so much to...More

Peace, tranquility, beauty, charm, elegance - the superlatives continue to fall. The Cathedral is simple, yet has many beautiful windows and altar settings to view. Expect to spend between 30 minutes and an hour just wandering around the amazing building.
