Have to disagree with earlier review about Turandot. Staging was more Fritz Lang’s Metropolis than StarWars. Programme had plot summary in English and majority of seats have an electronic libretto system with Spanish, Catalan or English translation. It was superb and the theatre is beautiful.

I was unpleasantly surprised, that flyers with program description were only printed in Catalan, no English available. The same goes for subtitles on the curtains, no subtitles at the seats either. They show it clearly - foreigners are not welcome. In addition, the new production...More

Three works by Jiri Kylian. Beautifully danced, presented and lit. Two hour performance. Less than hour in actual dance. Concluding with the amazing Petite Mort. Great auditorium, comfortable seating, great sight lines, good accessibility.

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard,
and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La
Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll
past impressive human statues and artists while others
take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at
one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic

Yes, you will have to cross La Rambla and maybe walk about a half a block east and you will be able to get a taxi fairly quickly.
