The Metropol Parosol. More commonly known as Las Setas, the mushrooms. Imposing, controversial, formidable and daring. A must see, even just to make up your own mind. €3 entry to visit the viewing area at the top. Lots of decent bars around the area too.

Unlike anything I’ve seen before, this structure is reminiscent of model kit enlarged to a steroidal size. The view of the structure changes as you walk through and around it. At night the structure becomes a subtle graceful mushroom silhouetted against the cityscape.
The structure in itself is quite boring and not too elevated for it to be called a “look out point” most of the building surrounding the structure are bigger.
