A palace built by Napoleone III, looking very impressive on the top of the hill from which you can enjoy in the view over the city. We did not go inside because some event was there on time we were there

Historic building in a parc with security. The parc is not crowded. You can go there for a picknick all day long. The parc is situated on a hill with stunning views to the port of Marseille and overseas. We really liked being there, away...More

If leaving from the Vieux Port, it’ll take you a good 20’ minutes walk with young children. (For us, girls are 2 and 5) But when there, kids are delighted as there’s a carousel and a little playground. Parents can enjoy the view from there...More

Short walk from city center to the park here will definitely enable you to have fantastic views over the whole of Marseille. The Palace is a beautiful structure while the views around are photogenic as well.

Just a short stroll from the city centre this park gives great views of the city. The spirals give the park an arty feel.

The palace itself is a nice building, but the main property of this place is its location: I believe the best views of Marseille is available from here, even taking Notre Dame de la Garde basilica into account.

The palais itself is off-limits so this is all about the surrounding park and the views it provides. It's a decent hike uphill to get there but absolutely worth it. You can look back over the city or admire the view of the sea. There's...More

It;'s a reasonable walk to get here, but absolutely worthwhile. The views back over the town and into the mountains and coasts in the distance are absolutely stunning. Allow enough time not only for some stunning photography but to simply take in the gorgeous views...More
