Short walk from city center to the park here will definitely enable you to have fantastic views over the whole of Marseille. The Palace is a beautiful structure while the views around are photogenic as well.

The palace itself is a nice building, but the main property of this place is its location: I believe the best views of Marseille is available from here, even taking Notre Dame de la Garde basilica into account.
