This is an interesting old place that was clad in wood to save money when things were tough way back when!

Impressive church outside and inside. It is worth taking 20 minutes and walking around. It has great stain glass, great statues, and great wood work.

Judging from the outside we weren't expecting much, but upon entering we were amazed at the craftsmanship and beauty. It's free so there's no reason not to go in.

What a lovely Church, all wooden & so full of history & atmosphere, great place. The sun was shining through the beautiful stained glass windows, casting colourful shadows.

A medieval church that doesn't seem to have changed over the centuries. It is made entirely of wood. Some of the walls have been painted with Biblical scenes, including the stations of the cross.

This was the first thing we looked at when we arrived in the centre of Honfluer. Very unusual being built of wood, presumably by ship builders?

Great example of a church constructed from wood - the biggest one surviving in France and dating from the 15th Century. Delightful and spectacular interior. There is a separate Bell Tower which, almost unbelievably, has in-built public toilets!
