These gardens and there are multiple gardens, take a staff of 300 to cultivate and care for are phenomenal. We walked through them and witnessed the fountains and the rich colors that rocked our world.
These are very large and add to the grandeur of the Palace. There are some things in the Ecuries such as the equestrian school and carriage galleries but these have to be open if you want to see inside.
Don't just stay by the chateau and the gardens there, walk further into the estate and you will find more beautiful gardens and other buildings to walk round.
We found it was much pleasanter the further you got as less people ventured that far.
