This is an incredibly beautiful bookshop. To me, it reminded it me of a big tree house, due to the wood and small rooms inside the shop. Everyone in the staff spoke fluent English and most of the titles were in English. In the first...More

We searched for this bookstore for about an hour but it was a wonderful way to see the neighborhood. Well worth the wait! My cell battery died just before reaching so no photos. Very cool way to experience culture and history of Paris!

Yes there are books for all ages. When our boys were younger they loved buying books at the Shakespeare and getting the signature stamp. They still have a stamped copy of the Hunchback of Notre Dame from their first visit.
