A fabulous museum to visit and a must when in Paris. Purchasing skip the line tickets a bonus but you still need to queue to clear security. The exhibits are not clearly signposted and only one photo of the Mona Lisa allowed. The attitude of...More

There is some online discussion about whether buying the prepaid ticket for individual entry matters, since (unlike some private or semiprivate tours that can be booked ahead of time) you still have to enter through the pyramid main entrance. Answer: yes, it's worth it! When...More

Beautiful museum. Certainly there are many people but mainly to the major works (The Mona Lisa, The comers of Milo ...), the other equally beautiful rooms are more accessible. The building itself is sublime with ceiling and rooms perfectly restored.

The museum would not accept this ticket. I would suggest going directly through the Louvre website (the tickets are cheaper on there anyways). You might also be able to get in for free depending on your age if you show them an ID.

From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
