Renoir and sonJean the great film director in a mingled artistic fashion. Most and permanent, all the best of impressionists. And Van Gogh, Sisley, Cezanne, Derain, Manet. A space to be and wander around.

And that is saying something with the Louvre within walking distance! Paris is filled with amazing museums but what I love about the Orsay is the combination of an incredible art collection especially impressionists set in a spectacular building that provides great light and space....More

Such a gorgeous museum. Small enough to see in a few hours. Amazing paintings and sculpture. Monet, cezanne. Awesome. They have a convenient cafe for a sandwich and coffee. There is also a Very nice sit-down restaurant.

Degas exhibition was the highlight, but by no means the extent of it. Many great artists on display in a wondeful setting. It was busy but since we bought tickets through Trip Advisor before leaving the states we had a lot shorter wait than those...More

Such a beautiful museum with great art! it was a little crowded but there is a good reason to be. Artists work like Picasso, Van Gough, Renoir and many more. Degas a L"Opera exhibit is so good and so well organized.

I chose Paris as a destination just so I could go to this museum. It was worth it. I went to see one specific Monet and fell in love with the sculpture throughout the museum. I also really enjoyed the Art Deco installation.

This is a really nice museum in Paris, smaller than Louvre and less crowded but with many beautiful and interesting pieces of art worth to see. I really loved it here.

We did this museum before the Louvre, and over all I found it less crowded. I also did not find it as overwhelming as I did the Louvre. If you’re not a die hard art fan you might consider this as an alternative. We were...More

It is best to get your tickets in advance. We arrived at the Musee d'Orsay and there were throngs of people around, many on a line. There was no signage when we were there to indicate whether the line was for ticket purchase, ticket holder,...More

I would always buy tickets ahead of time for any museum in Paris as they are all pretty well visited. You can get them from the web site (if you know French) or from Trip Advisor.
