I'm sure this is a fun spot for kids, but less so for a solo adult. I was disappointed that there were no actual artifacts and the tableaux seemed a little amateur , but I'm sure it would appeal to children and encourage their interest...More

We visited Dublinia on the 30th September on a very wet and rainy day. Luckily everything we visted was indoors in the warm. Lots to read and look out. Enjoyable experience and fairly good price.

We met an amazing tour guide, Jesse, who has an encylopedic knowledge of Irish and British history. She had answers to all our questions and added interesting and relevent historical context and detail. We really enjoyed her discussion of the historical dramas that are popular...More

We enjoyed this easy to walk through museum which showcases the Viking and medieval history of Dublin. Tons of mannequins set up in dioramas which were cool. Lots of interactive spots. I really like the medieval section and “the fair “ section you could walk...More

Our experience a the Dublinia was mostly educational. They had hands on tools, write your name using the Viking alphabet. The exhibition was gives you an insight of history and how the Viking culture settled in Ireland. We recommend to visit the Dublinia when in...More

Very Disappointing...No Actual Artifacts...Amateurish....I expected artifacts from the various Viking phases of occupation but there was a utensil or two...very lame and disappointing. Not even appropriate as a children's exhibit

This exhibit really does a great job in chronicling the influence the Vikings had in settling Ireland. It also has an entire section of Medieval Irish history. Anyone could enjoy the museum no matter the age. Some exhibits were more tailored to school age kids....More

The exhibition is well laid out and interactive, suitable for all ages. There is a couple of stairways not difficult unless you want to go the extra 96 steps up the Tower.
