It is nice college campus with an ok tour. Just a few things to see but nothing super special here in my opinion. Still good to visit anyway.

Nice college campus, its one of the oldest in the world. It has a lot of history. But the real deal is to go see the book of kells.

Decided to do the tour of Trinity College. It was very easy to book tickets - you just had to walk up to the little desk near the entrance and could easily get tickets for any time slot. The tour was conducted by one of...More

This tour was great as we got to know about a few of the buildings within the college and their history. Your tour price included entry to see the Book of Kells and the magnificent library.

It is amazing to be able to see a manuscript that had been created in 800AD. Crowds, of course, are huge and you will likely not get a chance to look closely or carefully at the book, but still do see it.

I think go early and expect to spend most of the morning there it is very interesting, and very busy, so its not a quick wander, more like a slow walk.

Student led tour includes Book of Kells and library... but they are located right at the main entrance (through the arch) so just ask them. They may be amenable to it. It really was fun and educational. We loved it.
