Many people believe that this brooding lake in Northern Scotland, 21 square miles in size at an average depth of 800 feet, could certainly hide a large dinosaur-like "monster," the lake's long-time and elusive resident.

I was a little skeptical about visiting Loch Ness, but I am really glad we did it. We took a 1 hour cruise of the Loch and it really is a beautiful area.

We arrived in a quaint town right on shore. Our tour group was given about 2 hours which was more than enough time to grab a bite and take pictures of the lake. It was a Tuesday in October and quite crowded so I can’t...More

A day trip to Loch Ness from Edinburgh or Glassgow is a wonderful experience. Do opt for the cruise as it offers some great views, clear skies, beautiful rainbows - plenty of them!

We drove around the loch and over to the aisle of Skye. Gorgeous scenery. We were very lucky to have sun and great weather (for October).

We took a (1) hour Loch Ness Cruise @ Clansman Harbor Hotel. It was a very informative and cool way to take in Loch Ness. Truly stunning sites that can only be seen from the water. You will not regret checking this out.

We were lucky enough to experience a beautiful sunny drive along Loch Ness from Inverness to Drumnadrochit - even more stunning than in the rain!

I would recommend you to look into B&B's around that area, Not only it is less expensive but also you can get to enjoy the lovely Scottish hospitality.
