The hoe, for me has always been a beautiful and inspirational place. I lived in plymouth for a short amount of time years ago and it was always my favourite place to go.

Came to the hoe after we got married for some amazing photos. Beautiful back drop. Lots of cafes, and think there's even bbq bins in the summer. Very lucky to have this place to visit on our doorstep :)

Very relaxing venue - enjoyed my time out - service was a tad sketchy; it's a popular place. We had drinks and coffee. The afternoon sky was beautiful. I would go back for sure.

We had great weather and enjoyed the sights and harbour view. Re-created the iconic 1967 photo of the Beatles on the Hoe.

This area seemed very clean and pleasant to walk around. The memorials are well tended and there are nice views along the coast. You can go inside the lighthouse if you like and there are a few cafes on the coast and the Citadel overlooking...More

I would advise to stay away from the Hoe! They have fairground rides etc. You can view the fireworks from mountbatton, devils point or jennycliff. Wherever you choose to go, get there early, it gets very busy x

What a lovely thing to do, and yes the Hoe is well lighted and very safe for cycling as there are various traffic calming measures preventing the lunatics from spoiling your time there. Enjoy!
