I only spent a few hours in St Ives. It is a crowded little town on the coast but has a wonderful atmosphere to it. Someone suggested I take the train to go in as the roads are so narrow in St. Ives that you...More

So picturesque and scenic. Dogs allowed out of season (not sure if that applies peak season though). One of the most beautiful and dramatic coastlines in the World, let alone the UK!

We took the train from St Erth to avoid parking problems - a great idea as the trains are regular and plenty of seats have been made available. Great views of the harbour and beach as you make the short walk into the town. Quite...More

St Ives has a lovely beach and some great shops. My only issue when visiting was the parking. You would be very lucky if you could find any spaces in the village itself so you have to park at the top of the hill, which...More

If you want to visit one of the many harbours in Cornwall, then St Ives is a must. Beautiful harbour with great little shops, pubs and it even has an arcade for the kids.

This beach is just beautiful, & actually beats most of the beaches I've been to while abroad. I can see why so many people come here. Crystal clear torquise sea, soft powdery sand, large enough to accomadate a lot of people without being crowded &...More
