Midway between Vancouver and Squamish , Porteau Cove Park is the epitome of the West Coast experience . Awesome scenery , easy access , friendly visitors . Visit for a few hours or stay overnight (you need booking for that)

Good for a quick stop and walk down a pier. Nice views of the inlet. Other water activities in the area that you can do if you have the equipment.

We stopped on our trip home from Squamish to enjoy the view. Beautiful area with a nice beach. I would love to come back and dive in the area after reading about the reefs they have built.

Port d'eau (French) means "water's gate" and this truly is one fine gem of a place. Camping spots really fill up quickly and there is a 7-day limit. Fresh water runs through the campground's faucet tap. The Aurora Borealis (October to March) is visible here,...More

It was a really windy day, lots of jet ski's out on the water, boats and activities. Walked along the beach, amazing drift wood and rocks on the beach. Must add, the restrooms are really very clean.

This was a little gem off the main road. We stopped and walked around. Although it was a windy day, we had fun and could see how far we went by boat the weekend before.

Perfect place to stop and stretch your legs. Great scenery, small crowds, and free. We stopped here on our Sea to Sky trip and played on the pier and went down to the beach. Getting to the beach is a little tricky, but the pier...More

We had a stopover at Porteau Cove Provincial Park for half an hour. During sunset, the scenery is amazing with the mountains and the sky and the water all in one picture.
