One word.... STUNNING! :)
We were in my car for a short European tour of some 39 days. Taking in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and France, I have to say I didn't think of cost.... the experience was worth every penny.
A once in a lifetime experience! The prices are exorbitant - 200€ per head from Interlaken - Jungfraojoch and back, but there is really no way around this, and if you've come all the way it makes sense to spend it.
Stunning views and landscapes,...More
Expensive journey, but worthwhile to experience on a clear day, particularly if you venture out onto Glacier Plateau (highly recommended).
When the train arrives, quickly get your certificate stamped if you want that souvenir, then get away from the crowd — head to a restaurant,...More

Hi. Sorry about the slow reply. Not logged in for a while. In Winter the days will be much shorter so I'd suggest get a train up as early as possible. Keep a watch on the weather and if you can, get a sunny day and early morning train and try and book the day before. The drawback of course is that a few other people might just have similar ideas. All the best with your trip anyway.
