We think that Nemea is the best kept secret of the archaeological world. We felled under the spell of the place with his beauty and the magic of his ruins. I agree entirely with the comments of previous reviewers about how special this place is....More

Everyone knows about Epidavros, Delphi or Ancient Olympia, but Nemea is also a wonderful place hardly mentioned. Extremly quiet, hidden in the middle of a wine tasting experience, Ancient Nemea offers a very special view of what the great grandchildren of Hercules thought about themselves....More

I went to the Archaeological site followed by the Stadium -- very quiet, not very busy when we were there, so simply an amazing experience. Highly recommended

This place has a lovely small museum which we visited before going to the Temple. Thank you UC Berkeley for partially restoring the site!

I love this site. The place is beautiful; there is a lovely museum; a small exhibit explains how the archaeological reconstruction process works; there is a gorgeous stadium where regular games take place. And the very best part of it is that it is sufficiently...More

A superb ancient site, more recently funded from the USA (University of Berkley, California). It has a small but fascinating museum and a fairly large area of excavations, much of which is continuing. Well worth visiting.

What’s the difference between Ancient Nemea and Mycenae? Well, half the price, only one tour bus and a fraction of the tourists busily ticking another site off their list. Lovingly preserved and partially restored with a nice exhibit of just how those columns are constructed....More
