Using our 2 day water bus ticket we visited Murano, Burano and Lido in a full day. Burano is by far the most impressive by way of style and mood. A beautiful and relaxed place worthy of a half day visit to wander around and...More

I actually liked it more than Venice. The houses have incredible painting, the colors are so vibrant. Stop and get an Aperol and enjoy the view. Also there is a leaning tower

Worth going to walk around and see all the Nonna's doing lacework and the brightly coloured houses. But I'd advise everything, the lace, the food and drinks are all expensive here.

We must have taken more than a hundred photos of the colorful houses and the surrounding areas. Take the vaporetto. It is worth it!

Burano Island is an interesting trip accessible by boats and ferries from Venice. Its primary claim to fame is the making of lace, so there are many shops selling such.

I would stay in Venice and go to Burano for a day, by waterbus. Burano is small, you can walk through it in 3 hours.
